of transport to get out from Pokhara. Most popular are plane, tourist
bus, car, jeep and local bus and micro van. The most popular place to go
from Pokhara are:
* Buses : Tourist buses run from the tourist bus park starting at 7.30
every morning, and will arrive in Kathmandu sometime after 2pm. Tickets
are available at all travel offices and prices starts from
600 rupees to US$ 20.
There are more then 15 tourist bus leaves for
Kathmandu from tourist bus park Rastra Bank Chowk. You may find bus for
Lumbini, Bhairahawa, Sunauli, Besishar from tourist bus park in the
morning. 150 meters north from the Prithivi
Chowk there is a Micro bus station, every 30 minutes small micro bus
leaves for kathmandu. Tourist who don't like to go early morning can
take micro van from here. Price is reasonable about Rs
600. From the central bus terminal Prithivi
Chowk local bus leaves for different parts of
the country. Night and day buses are available for Lumbini, Bhairahawa,
Sunauli, Besishar, Nepalgunj, Biratnagar,
Birgunj, Dharan, Narayanghad, Kakarvitta, Gorkha
